The side shape of the sides is quite similar to the Kone Pure Ultra, and the click area has a design similar to the MZ1.

Attention

The assembly can be done if you have the technical skill level required to disassemble the EGG OP1 8K.

Once you receive the printed parts, I recommend washing off the nylon powder first.

Using a toothbrush or an ultrasonic cleaner is effective when washing off the powder.

Required Parts

  • Shell
  • Click frame
  • Main PCB (with cable)
  • Switch PCB x2
  • Large screws that secure the click PCB ×4
  • Small screws that secure the main PCB ×3

Tool

  • Driver (the one included with the OP1 8K is fine)

Assembly Instructions

1. Secure the main PCB with the cable attached to the shell.
Use three small screws in the areas marked with blue circles.
Tighten carefully to ensure the bottom surface is not warped.

Make sure the cable is positioned underneath the pillar section that may interfere.

2. Place the cable in the same position as indicated by the blue marker and secure the cable bush to the front of the mouse.

Insert it between the wheel click switch and the round pillar, and press it down as far as possible.

3. Connect the switch PCB to the main PCB and secure it while pressing down on the positioned cable from above.
For each switch PCB, use two large screws on each side, for a total of four screws.

Ensure the switch PCB cable does not stick up, and try to flatten it as much as possible.
If this is difficult, you may use appropriate tape or similar materials to secure it to the main PCB.

This is the most important part of the assembly, and it is crucial to ensure that the switch PCB is properly secured and parallel to the ground.
You may need to compress the cable slightly.
It works well to hold the micro switch down with your finger while tightening the screws.

4. Align the blue circle with the green circle and secure the click frame to the shell.

To prevent any gaps at the yellow circle, press both sides towards the center as needed. Additionally, if there is an issue with the click feel, refer to the notes in Step 3 and try re-securing the click PCB for improvement.

5. Assembly complete.
