TECHNOLOGY:

Limberg the mice and Billy the goat are built using PolyJet technology, which can create a colorful print directly without painting. PolyJet offers the unique ability to print parts and assemblies made of multiple materials, colors/transparency, hardness with different mechanical or physical properties, all in a single build.

STEP 1: 3D Modeling

The modeling fee for each villager is: $78

• Lead time: about 1-2 weeks
• The outcomes include three files: model file .obj, material file .mtl, and texture map file .png.

It’s okay if you can find the files on the Internet and turn to us for printing. To print full-color models, we need .onj, .mtl, and .png files.
Or else we can only print garage kits and paint them with brushes and airbrushes.

If you cannot find a ready model or find a reliable modeler, welcome to reach us:)
We will reshape the 3D model and make adjustments until you are satisfied with it.

STEP 2: Quoting

To save costs, we advise the client to print the bases with SLA technology, and the main bodies with PolyJet technology.

• Default dimension with base: 80 × 43.5 × 40 mm
• Default dimension without base: 70 × 43.5 × 35.5 mm

If you want to print a smaller or bigger one, please message us for the quote.
But remember, when the size of the PolyJet print increases, the price rises exponentially.

• PolyJet printing cost of two 7cm-high full-color statues: $280
• SLA printing cost of two 1cm-high painted bases: $14

*For people who have a tight budget, we recommend you Colorjet Printing technology. A full-color statue of the same size would cost less than $70. CJP printed sandstone statues would have a little bit rougher surface and a lower resolution, which is not suitable for printing human head statues, but good enough for making ACNH villagers.

STEP 3: 3D Printing

Our engineers will check the models and make tiny adjustments to make them printable.
For example, the tail of the mice is too thin, so we split the tail from the body and print them separately.
And we will add an insert structure to connect the body and the base.

• Lead time: about 1 week

STEP 4: Finishing

For the main body, you can choose Matte or Glossy finishes.
We recommend a glossy finish by spraying a little UV oil. Too much oil would make it oily and disgusting.

As for the base, the client selected the 3385 C Pantone color, which is the Animal Crossing green.

• Lead time: 1 day

STEP 5: Transportation

There are two options for the shipment.

• Cheap small package: 2-4 weeks, $16
• Faster express: $32
