Product Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I ordered the HUANO Blue Shell Pink Dot and the Kailh GM 8.0 (BLACK) for my G305 Hot-Swap mod. The Huano Blue Shell Pink Dot is closer to the original feel as far as pressure goes to the OEM switches. However HUANO has a much more tactile feel to me. The Kailh GM 8.0’s feel less tactile but harder to press. The difference is slight and may be influenced by which side I’ve put them on (Kailh Left-Click, HUANO Right-Click).
So far I’m enjoying both and suspect these will last me much longer than the OEM switches which has a reputation for double clicking and entirely the reason I’ve gone with the Hot-Swap PCB mod. Additionally I chose these two based on life-span but I’m very happy with the sound and feel of both.
I also plan to order at least 2 pair of all the other switches and will post an additional review when I’ve had a chance to test them.
Merchant Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I feel like it’s very important to the shopping experience and how FacFox handled my issue gives me complete confidence to order from them again. I initially had some issues with shipping where it was rescheduled for delivery but never arrived. This was not the fault of the FacFox but the fault of the the company delivering the order.
I reached out to FacFox hoping to remedy the situation and I could not have asked for a better outcome. FacFox offered me either a full refund or to reship the items in my order. Obviously I really wanted the Hot-Swappable PCB so I told them even if they refunded me, I would just end up ordering again. The new shipment arrived 5 days later (which is pretty great considering the the difference in location). Other than the original shipping issue (which was not their fault), they’ve have been extremely helpful throughout the process. I have complete confidence in FacFox and plan to order from them again.
Overall I’m super happy with the PCB (Logitech G305 G304 Gold Plated Hot-swappable Mouse PCB Board For Left-Right Button) and switches and will be buying more in the future as I have quite a few Logitech mice.
